Monica has been in private practice since 2009 and certified in the Othmer Method of Neurofeedback since 2010. Monica also has extensive experience as an educator. Her teaching experience gives her insight into academic challenges from elementary school through university.
Monica’s positive energy is contagious and her optimism for the application of the principles of psychology is a winning combination.
Monica earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Counseling at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Currently, Monica uses her skills both in her counseling office and as an adjunct professor of psychology at a local university.
Monica’s teaching experience is of particular benefit when working with clients who are struggling to keep up in school, on academic probation or finding it difficult to get the special academic services they need from their educational institution.
